ITALY

^^^when you're sleeping outside, like a homeless vagrant, this is what you get to wake up to^^^

^^^and this^^^

^^^but...staying cool and clean does become a problem. so, you start eating gelato. ^^^

^^^and dipping your feet in famous, yet dirty, rivers (yes, that is the uffizi in the background)^^^

^^^and with not much more than two quarters to rub together, you can see the most beautiful wonders in the world.^^^

^^^random roman ruin^^^

^^^and fortunately, lots of world wonders are free (the vatican)^^^

^^^and you get to spend every minute of the day with the person you love the most^^^

^^^even though he gets mistaken for a beggar everywhere you go^^^

GERMANY

^^^the most somber day of our trip.^^^

^^^until this day (jewish memorial, berlin)^^^

^^^remnants of the berlin wall^^^

^^^and finally, we stopped by some german castles before heading back to london^^^

Traveling on a shoestring through Europe was one of the best decisions we ever made. We saved all the money from having a cheap wedding and bought two tickets to England. Two, temporarily unemployed, college students with no specific plans, essentially no money, and an outdated travel guide... sounds like a cheesy Elizabeth Gilbert memoir.
